Long distance LOVE

Their love has a special story.  A story that involves meeting at camp and becoming great friends.  A story of two friends falling in love.  They have a love that can be felt through the distance and miles that separate them.  A love that  bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

When I received the phone call from Heather, I knew this couple was going to be special.  She explained to me that her fiance, James, would only be in town for a week and they needed engagement pictures taken.  We set a date and decided to do the shoot in downtown St. Augustine.  The weather was yucky that day but the rain stopped just in time for us to get some really neat shots.   They were troopers through the humidity and willingly did whatever I asked.  Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

Erin and Wesley are engaged!

The sky was clear.  Finally, a break in days of summer evening showers.  Erin and Wesley's session had to be rescheduled due to rain, for later during the week.  But something told me when I woke up that morning to go ahead and "go for it today".  OK , so the something was the weather channel but nonetheless it was something :-)  I was super nervous - as always.  I get nervous before every session it seems.  I was so thankful to have Laurel and Charnelle there to help out.  Thanks girls! 
I knew as soon as I looked through my lens that Erin and Wesley's engagement session was going to be a great one.  They were so comfortable in each-others arms and made every smile look effortless.  I believe the smiles really were effortless.  It's easy to smile when you are in love.

Thank you Erin and Wesley for being such great sports and for being willing to try everything we threw at you.  I really enjoyed your session and can't wait to photograph your wedding in October.
